Pea Soup Competition report

Sunday February 17th, the 2019 Pea Soup Competition has taken place on the ESTEC Golf course.

The weather was spring like, dry and Sunny with moderate winds, and a maximum temperature of 14ÂșC. A exceptionally good weather for mid February.

We had a full field of player (with just one withdraw). The competitors could enjoy a nice Pea Soup after the competition, even though they didn’t really need to warm up.

Winner this year is Martin Traas with an exceptional score of 51 net.
Second place goes to Willem Borst with a very good score of 57 net.
Third, tony Van Rosmalen with 60
Fourth, Mary Gillies with 61
Fifth, Nely Borst with 61

Pea Soup Competition 2019

Dear Club Members,

The Pea Soup competition will take place this Sunday February 17th 2019. You can register on Proware or by sending me an email.

The format is stroke play with handicap compensation. Shotgun start at noon, so be on site around 11:30 am.

Participation fee is 5 Euros, to be paid on site.

Pea Soup will be served in Escape, after the competition.

EGC Matchplay Tournament 2019

Dear club members,

The registrations for the 2019 ESTEC Golf Club Matchplay knockout tournament are now open in Proware. Registrations will close on Thursday 28th of February midnight. The draw will be done after March Monthly competition.

The matches are played with handicap compensation, with a maximum difference of 18 shots (so maximum one shot given on every hole).

The schedule is as follow:

Fri 31st May – Completion of round of 32
Sun 23rd June – Completion of round of 16
Sun 28 July – Completion of quarter finals
Sun 22 Sep – Completion of semifinals
Sun 13 Oct – Completion of final
