Bedrijf results after 1st game Shell vs ESTEC at Bentwoud

The Bedrijf League is back, and we have played the 1st game away against Shell at Bentwoud on Thursday May 20th.

The conditions were quite difficult, it was cold for the season, rainy and windy. Shell showed up with some pretty low hcp players.

Your captain didn’t do very well and lost 3&2. Paul McNamara had a tight game and got unlucky on hole 18 with a really bad lie in a divot for his approach shot to the green, ended up losing 1 down. Rafael also had a tight game unfortunately losing on hole 18, 1 down.

Thankfully, Erik was in great form and crushed his competitor 5&4, Helma stayed strong all game and prevailed 2up, while Brian as steady as ever, won easily 4&3.

The end result is a tie: Shell 3 – 3 ESTEC

Next challenge is on June 3rd at “home” (Zeegersloot) against EPO.

Bedrijf League 2021

Dear members,

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that the Bedrijf League is back this year. All the usual teams have signed up: Shell, BP, PIT and EPO.

The Bedrijf League is a business evening league played with the aforementioned businesses/organisations golf clubs. Each game is played between 2 teams of 6 players, in individual matchplay with full hcp compensation. We play during the week with the first tee around 17:30. Each team plays every other team twice, once at home and once away. Since we can’t receive in ESTEC, we have booked 4 evenings in Zeegerslot GC in Alphen.

BP is hosting in Kleiburg, Shell in Bentwoud, PIT in Leeuwenbergh, and EPO in Rijswijkse.

Players must be 36 hcp minimum to participate. There is no special priority, so we will do our best to ensure that everyone that wants to play gets to play.

For each round we will need 6 players, and one standby that will keep his evening free in case one of the players that was selected can’t make it at the last minute.

To sign up you just need to indicate your availability for each date in the Doodle at the link below:
