PIT v ESTEC
On Thursday June 7 ESTEC took on the PIT team at their homecourse Bentwoud. The tough and challenging course proved tricky for many players. IN the end ESTEC managed to go home with a draw: 3-3

EPO A vs ESTEC
On Tuesday June 12 ESTEc visited golfclub Leeuwenbergh for the match against the EPO A team. The pretty hard wind made the course very tricky. We had to wait for the last flight to know who won, but in the end EPO casued us our first defeat in the season with an end result: 3.5-2.5

Matches were won by Vincent and Klaus, David halved his match

Attached are the current standing with most teams having played 4 matches. ESTEC is currently in second place. Next week BP will host ESTEC at Kleiburg.

On Wednesday ESTEC welcomed the new, high handicap, team of EPO. On average the ESTEC players had to give their opponents more than 10 strokes so we couldn;t make many mistakes. Thankfully the thunderstorms stayed tothe south of us and we were able to enjoy a great evening of golf.

Even though we had to give our opponents a lot of shots it didn’t bother most players and ESTEC got a comfortabel win of 4-2.
With 2 matches played we remain undefeated and hopefully we can look forward to a succesful season.

For next week Thursday (7/6) players are still needed for our match at Bentwoud versus PIT. Because of the Chaturvedi cup availability of players is deminished, but hopefully ESTEC can still field a full team. Please register in Proware or contact Erik per email!

Yesterday the ESTEC Team visited Burggolf Zoetermeer to play against the team from Shell. The thunderstorms and rain kept their distance and the eveinng turned out to have brilliant golfing weather.

Shell (the 2017 league winners) brought a strong team, but the ESTEC team consisted of players that all came out of the ESA Cup training camp from last weekend, so they arrived in peak form. This lead to a very valuable away victory of 2-4 for ESTEC at the challenging Zoetermeer course!
