King’s Social Scramble: 27 April 2021 – Results

What a nice King’s Day to play golf, sunny no wind and temperature around 14 Deg. C. This alternative “tee time” King’s Scramble event was played as three-balls from red tees and from scratch by 27 players representing 9 teams. The best team score and winner of three bottles of Appassimento Wine was Ben/Garry/Angelika with a score of 57 strokes, followed by Geoff/Ineke/Ton with 58 strokes. Congratulations to the winning team, however, no winning team photo with prizes could be taken but the wine will be available from the check-in hut coming Sunday. Hope all participants enjoyed the event and all team scores can be found attached.

Dunhill Cup 2021 standings after 2nd round

Last Saturday April 17th the 2nd round of the Dunhill Cup has been played in excellent weather conditions.

France was sitting that round out, so we had Netherlands vs Commonwealth, and Italy vs Germania. It was the first game for Italy and they are off a good start beating Germania 3-0. Commonwealth get their first win.

Sunday 18 April 2021: CRT Greensome, Report and Results.

Again a well-attended second 2021 Colin Rolls Trophy event “Greensome” of the year. This time the weather was with us with temperature around 12 Deg. C and sunny. Altogether we had 39 players participating in 10 flights where each pair represented one of the traditional four teams. The best pair score was recorded by Piet and Garry with 42 St.P. followed by Andrew and Geoff with 40 St.P. The best team score counting the two best score per team, was recorded by the “Babes and the Boys” with 78 St.P. followed by “Friday’s Men” with 77, “Andy Caps” with 68 St.P.   and the “Mulligans” with 64 St.P. All pair and team results can be found attached.
