2021 Presentation Tournament Results

Last Sunday, the presentation competition was played in pretty decent conditions: moderate winds, cool but dry weather, and even some sun in the afternoon.

The game format was against par, and we had a small showing of 16 players. While it looked like family Hjortnaes would get a second win in a row, Willem Borst actually prevailed with an amazing back 9.

So winner with +2 (and a better back 9 of +4) Willem Borst. Second Anna Hjortnaes (+2, back 9 +1). 3rd Tony Rosmalen -1 with a sightly better back 9 than Garry Gould 4th.

Congratulations to Willem!!!

Pea Soup Competition 2021 results

The Pea Soup Competition has been played last Sunday under the best weather we could hope for. Low winds, clear blue sky, and a temperature that was flirting with 10ºC. Only 20 participants took advantage of those perfect playing conditions.

The scores were pretty good, and our former chairman Kjeld Hjortnaes prevailed by posting a nice 58 net. 2nd with 59 and the best back nine Ben Smeltink. Third with 59 and slightly worse back nine Ton Remmen.

Congratulations Kjeld!
