The new local rule that went into effect in January was already
mentioned in the minutes of the first committee meeting, but could have
been overlooked. Now that we are at the start of the season I would like
to remind you of the new rules regarding accidental movement of the
ball on the green. Please see the attached infograph created by the
R&A explaining the new rules.
Registration for the
Tespelduyn-ESTEC match at Tespelduyn on March 25 is now open in Proware!
This event will be played at Tespelduyn, will consist of 12
holes and will be an individual Stableford format with the best 10 scores
from each side counting. There will of course also be plenty of individual
prizes.
Registration starts at 10.30 hrs. for a
shotgun start at 11.30 hrs. Tea & coffee will be served during
registration. Fee for ESTEC members is €25.00; the green fee, all prizes, coffee
& tea before the event and prosecco/bitterballen after the event (during the
prize giving) are all included in this fee.
Please
register ASAP and contact me directly if you need a handicart or a buggy; these
will probably be shared. Handicart costs €5.00 and buggy costs €12.50.
We look forward to this event especially in the spring at
Tespelduyn as the views of the flower fields are spectacular.
