on May 25-26 the ESA cup was played at La Herreria Golf Course in San Lorenzo de El
Escorial. We are glad to inform you that ESTEC brought home the trophy once more!

The Bedrijfsleague is now at the half way point for ESTEC. 4 matches have been played and ESTEC has won both our home matches (4-2 against BP and 6-0 against Shell) and tied our away matches (3-3 against PIT and 3-3 against BP). A great result so far and a huge thanks is due to the players for their support to the competition.
We are currently first in the league, but have played more matches than the other teams. Please see the current standing in the attached file.

Dear EGC members,
I am very happy to inform you that I will again
this year organize and coordinate the annual/traditional Serco/ESTEC golf
challenge at ESTEC on June 17th. Take note that this is indeed an earlier date
than usual in order to maximize participation.
This will be an individual stableford event with 18
players from each side competing. I plan registration in Escape 12.15/12.30 hrs.
for a shotgun start at 13.15.13.30 hrs. There will be many very nice prizes and
an informal dinner/bbq following the golf (estimated around 18.00 hrs.) – Serco
are very kindly again sponsoring this event, all the prizes and the
dinner..
Participation is available to all and will be on a
first come first served basis so don’t think about it for too long!!!
Our club captain Klaus Ludwig is responsible ESTEC
team so if you wish to play for ESTEC please contact him. I am responsible for
the Serco team and all other details of the day/event. I look forward to hearing
from you – preferably via email.

The first 2 matches in the Bedrijfsleague have been played with great success:
The match against BP on 10/5 was won by ESTEC at EGC with 4-2. Games for ESTEC were won by Erik, Vincent, Ronny and Massimo.
A week later Shell visited ESTEC. This time we improved our score securing victory in all games giving us a 6-0 result. The individual games were won by Erik, David, Johnny, Joe, Sylvain and Massimo. Well done!
With this great success we go into the difficult task of continuing this streak in 4 consecutive away games. Starting with the match against PIT at Bentwoud on Thursday June 1.
