Wasp nests on the course

The committee would like to inform you that recently 2 wasp nests have been discovered on the course. Their locations are:

1. In the bunker on hole 9. The location is marked by an orange marker.
2. In the bushes between hole 1 and 9. at the level of the single tree behind the water hazard on 1. He nest is in a cut off tree trunk.

This has been reported to Facility Management and these nests should be taken care of shortly. In the meantime please take caution at these spots on the course, especially people with known allergies.

Results Zeegersloot-Estec Challenge 25-9-2018

The 25th of September was the first match of the
Zeegersloot/Estec Challenge 2018 played at the Zeegersloot Golf Club.
In
total 41 players participated. The format was Individual Stableford.
Nobody
could complain about the weather, it was a great sunny day!

The Estec players did an
excellent job, 7 Estec players had a score from 30 and above while only 3
players from Zeegersloot managed this.

Well done!!

The 4 best Individual results were as follows:

1st
place : Tjalling de Vries, 36 Stb (Zeegersloot)
2nd place : Elly
Davis, 34 Stb (Estec)
3rd place : Vincent Regis, 34
Stb (Estec)
4rd place : Rob Richardson, 34 Stb
(Zeegersloot)

The club result is calculated from the best of 5 and is
after the first match as follows:

ESTEC Golf Club 1st place
with a score of 163 point
Zeegersloot Golf Club 2nd place with
a score of 156 points
The
17th of October is the return match at Estec (4 Ball Beter Ball), see
Proware.

Course closure Saturday 08/09


The ESTEC Golf Course will be closed this Saturday (08/09) for the
home match against Tespelduyn between 12.45 and 16.45 hrs approx. There will be
a shotgun start and we have a full course so I doubt we will finish
sooner..


Escape car park is also closed this Saturday due to preparation for a
big space event taking place at ESTEC next week.

First tee closure Wed 22/8 : Bedrijfsleague

Today at 17:30 our final Bedrijfsleague
match will be played at ESTEC. For this the first tee will be closed
from 17:30 until the last flight has left (should be no later than
18:15). The course remains open, but no rounds can be started or
continued after hole 9 during this period. Please give priority to the
competing flights when needed.
