The Bedrijfsleague started at the end of May after all captains got their teams together and finalised the playing schedule (for the most part). Unfortunately our friends from PIT had to withdraw from the competition this year due to a lack of players and time constraints. This left the competition with only 4 teams left, but it was decided to go ahead with the competition and hope that PIT might return in the future, or another team can be found.
I am proud to say that this competition is very well supported by the membership with some 20 members joining the team this year. I find myself in a fortunate situation that enough players are available to fill a full team each time, even with a World Cup going on.
We are currently halfway through the season and ESTEC is currently in the lead but also has played most of its matches. We won against BP (at ESTEC) and EPO (at Leeuwenbergh) and only had to accept a lost point in the home match against Misfits, that one ended in a draw.
