The 2024 Presentation Tournament & Dinner were planned for Saturday 18th January 2025, but unfortunately the tournament had to be postponed by a week to Saturday 25th due to forecast freezing temperatures.

The Dinner;

The Presentation Dinner was once again held at Pitch restaurant at the Golf Centrum Noordwijk, on Saturday 18th. Many (but not all) of the winners of competitions & tournaments throughout 2024 were present. A short “review” of 2024 was given, and engraved trophies were presented to the winners present whilst we enjoyed a nice dinner in good company.

The review is attached, now containing photo’s of the winners receiving their trophies.

The Tournament;

Unfortunately only 8 players participated in the re-scheduled 2024 Presentation Tournament. The forecast rain did not materialise, and the small group had an enjoyable afternoon. The winner on the day was Sander Borst.

Garry

The EGC 2024 Matchplay Tournament concluded yesterday with the final played between your two captains (Garry & Beatrice)

After a very tight match, Garry won on the 18th hole. Congratulations to Garry, and commiserations to Beatrice.

Thanks to all who participated in the Matchplay Tournament this year (and thanks Vincent for setting the tournament up in Challonge)

Winner: Andreas Obst with 95 StP

followed by Stephen Durrant with 94 St.P, Elly Davis-van de Berg with 88 St.P. and Joe Pereira with 87 St.P.

• 41 different players participated in the 4 2024 Seasonal events (last year 32).
• In total, 75 players participated in the 4 2024 Seasonal events (last year 68).
• The most successful event appeared to be Zeegersloot with 23 participants!
• The average best score was obtained at Kagerzoom with 30,2 St.P.
• The average score for all 4 events was 26,2 St.P. (last year 26,4 St.P.)
