Dear member,
the Dunhill Cup competition has a long standing history in our club.

I hope that we’ll have again a good representation of Europe in this event.
The Dunhill Cup is a kind of Nations Cup, where all members of a team shall have a
link to a recognisable ‘geo-political’ entity, either by birth, naturalisation, marriage
or partnership.
Last year we had the following 9 teams participating:

Commonwealth Captain: Salim Ansari
England Captain: David Colins
Germania Captain: Klaus Ludwig
Italy Captain: Giuseppe Racca
Netherlands Captain: Henk Wapstra
Scandinavia Captain: Reno Harboe-Sorensen
Spain Captain: Rafael Lucas
France Captain: Tony Rosmalen
Scotland Captain: Paul McNamara

The dates of the competition currently are:

Round 1 – April 21
Round 2 – April 28
Round 3 – May 12
Round 4 – May 26. Semifinals
Round 5 – June 23 Final

Dear all, yesterday under almost perfect conditions, the Pea soup tournament has been played.
The results of almost all players has been extraordinary good, although we played the wintergreens. In order to finish in the top 5, a player needed to have at least 40 stableford points.

The proud winner is : Ingrid Behrmann with a net score of 52 and 42 stableford points, followed by Nely Borst and Joe Pereira. Both played 53 net and had 41 stableford points, however Nely played the better back 6 holes.

Congratulation to Ingrid, Nely and Joe!!

We had 27 competitors in 2017.

Dear all, just a small reminder:
On Sunday 18th February we’ll play the annual Pea-Soup tournament.
There will be a 3-ball shot-gun start at 12:00.
After the match we’ll enjoy the pea soup and sandwiches in escape.
Registration in Proware is still possible till 15th February!
