Thirty five members took part in the Captains Day, individual Stableford competition. The Trophy was won by Helma Nollen with a magnificent 42 points – and with comensurate cut in handicap! The golf was followed by a BBQ at ESCAPE attended by 26 members.
The 2013 Captains’ Challenges were played jointly at Zeegersloot on Friday 26 July. The format for both was medal strokeplay (gross score minus playing handicap). Eleven former club and lady captains joined the current incumbents for the Challenges.
The annual Petten Challenge match was played at Sluispolder, Alkmaar, on Friday 19 July.
18 players participated, 10 from ESTEC and 8 from Petten. The Stableford scores of six players on each team were taken to give the team score. Congratulations to Petten on winning 182 to 175. The Challenge was initiated in 1986. To date the the match score stands at 14:14.

Netherlands Ladies beat SweDen to claim 3rd Place.
