Dear EGC Members,
As most of you are aware, the 2016 CRT competition (Colin Rolls Trophy)
is
about to start again. This fun, 4-round competition was originally called
the EGTEC, but had a name change in 2007 in honour of the late Colin
Rolls.
There are currently 4 teams competing, the Boys ‘n Babes, Friday’s Men,
the
Andy Capps and the Mulligans. However we are looking for more
players
to join the teams …….
Anyone is welcome, from beginners to experienced players. In fact
we
positively encourage beginners and new members to join – each round is a
team event with only the best 2 scores counting – so if you don’t have
your
best day, then don’t worry about it, there will be others to support you!
(This applies to both high and low handicappers!!!).
The four events are as follows:
Scramble: 20 March 2016
Greensome: 10 April 2016
Better Ball: 22 May 2016
Foursome: 19 June 2016
Don’t be confused by the formats – all will be explained to you on the
day
and you will always have a partner to confuse you further! You
don’t have
to play all the events, so don’t worry if you’re not available for one or
two of them.
