25 players enjoyed the beautiful weather after there were 3 last minute cancellations. Unfortunately the cancellations were all from the Mulligans leaving them with just 3 players and poor Anneke played as a single. Also there were an odd number of flights and Wil and Margaret started on hole 2 with a gap ahead of them until hole 5.
The golf course was in very good condition but the rough (not part of the golf course) was rather long and was best avoided but unfortunately it did consume a few balls. The greens were particularly faster than the previous round and at a good pace compared to some outside courses.
The conditions were good and resulted in lots of pars and a few birdies. The best pair were Ton and Ben with a score of 46. Being true winners they bought a round of drinks in Escape. In second place were Wil and Margaret with 43 followed by three flights of 42.
The overall leaderboard changed a bit and the Babes and Boys lead over Friday’s Men was reduced to 9 points.
