Sunday 19 March 2023: CRT Scramble, Report and Results.

What a nice start to the 2023 Colin Rolls Trophy  events “Scramble” the first of the year. Each of the four teams had 3 pairs playing, so a total of 24 player participated  in CRT-1. The weather conditions was fair considering this time of the year with temperatures around 9 Deg. C and it stayed dry! The best pair score was recorded by Geraldine and Henk with 47 St. P. followed by Francis/Marga – Piet/Joe – Klaus/Peter with 46 St. P. The best team score counting the two best score per team, was recorded by “Friday’s Men” with 91 St.P. followed by the “Andy Caps” with 90 St. P., the “Mulligans”  with 89 St. P. and the “Babes and the Boys” with 88 St. P. Highlights:

This year’s CRT-1, fortunately resulted in fairly closed scores between 40 and 47 St. P./pair, much lower scores than in 2022 (with highest 57 St.P.!). The average pair scores for 6 flights of 2 were 43,8 St. P. (handicap 18,4) compared to 2022 numbers of 44,3 (handicap 20,0). The shotgun start at 11:00 was appreciated by all and later endorsed for the coming CRT events.

Please be ready for the next CRT events “Greensome” which will take place on Sunday 16 April 2023 with start at 11:00 hrs. Contact your team Captain if you like to play. Team Captains to forward playing pairs to Alex not later than Thursday 13 April 2023.
