Firstly Happy New Year to all.
Based on the
following facts, that the last two January monthlies only had a limited number
of participants (2015 – 32 players &
2016 – 29 players), that the course is non-qualifying and that more than
80% of the players like to play late, the committee decided to try a new
concept with the 2017 January Monthly to be played as a shotgun start, at
11:30.
For this event,
playing partners and starting tees will be drawn by the organiser.
As always you
will receive detailed info on the Friday before the event – now also including
starting tee. You will be expected to be at your allocated tee at 11:15 and be
ready for the shotgun start at 11:30 (if late – don’t try to enter the course).
Finally please
register as usual via Proware – open until 23:59 hrs on Thursday January 12th
2017. If you already registered on Proware prior to this note and disagree with
this format – please remove your name (as of now 17 names listed, 2 early, 4
middle & 11 late).
After
the match, please enter your score into Proware, using the terminal at the
ESCAPE entrance or using your mobile phone.
Prize giving will
take place at ESCAPE shortly after the competition.
